8/19/24 Seasonal Campers: Bagging Yard Waste

Campers-please use paper bags for yard waste and grass. It is important to bag yard waste separately from trash. Yard waste bags placed at your curb that have garbage in them will be left at the curb. Why? When bags contain a mixture of garbage and yard waste our staff has had to unbag and separate the contents. Also please do not put computers, TVs, small appliances or any electronics in dumpsters. Flood Brothers may fine us or will not empty dumpsters that contain these items as The Illinois Electronic Products Recycling and Reuse Act prohibits mixing those with garbage intended for disposal at a landfill.
