Can we bring our dog?  Here are the conditions for bringing your furry friends-
Do you sell Six Flags Great America tickets?

Yes! As Preferred Lodging Partners for Six Flags Great America, we sell discounted daily admission tickets; 2018 prices are $51 each and Season passes for $83. The public may buy them at the registration office for cash. With advance notice, we can accommodate group ticket sales. Call (847) 546-2228 for details.

When is Check-in and Check-out?

Check-In: 4 pm, Check-Out 3 pm.   Early check-in is subject to availability.  Call (847) 546-2228 on your day of arrival to find out if your site has been vacated from the previous night. If it is available, we allow early check-in after 12 noon at no additional charge. Late check out is not allowed.

Do you have WiFi?

Yes, Overnight campers may use the FREE WiFi service in the overnight camping section near the pavilion. It is password protected. The password is provided at check in. Monthly campers enjoy FREE wifi service at their site.  Seasonal campers may buy a variety of Comcast services including tv programming, security and high speed internet. Comcast lines are run throughout the entire property to allow seasonal campers to buy short term services without the need for a contract or ugly satellite dish.  Comcast enabled Seasonal sites means personal service and fast internet speeds. Plus, there’s no need to call an 800 number, or wait on hold. Do you have swimming?

Water recreation is a big part of the Fish Lake Beach experience!  Fish Lake Beach campers may use the heated pool, kiddie pool, hot tub and lake for no charge. Our beach is open to the public for a daily fee. Click on daily admission for hours, cost and details. Group Picnic guests may swim in the lake. The rules below apply to all campers, their guests and the public.

Swim Safe Rules:

Are fishing licenses required?

Yes. Fishing licenses are required by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) for individuals 15 years old and over. You may purchase a fishing license at Fish Lake Beach at the Registration office with a driver’s license, previous license or student ID. Cash only.

Can I go fishing at night?

Shore fishing is permitted from 6 am to 11 pm Monday-Friday. Fishing from a rowboat is permitted until 7 pm.

Do you have rental accommodations?

Yes! Our Overnight Camping section features 4 park models to rent for as few as 2 days or as long as 2 weeks. Each is equipped with TV, wifi, kitchen, sofa, deck, grill, central air conditioning, picnic table, parking for two cars, grill and more!  We do not rent tents or other types of recreational vehicles.

Tell me about boating on Fish Lake!

Campers may bring their own boat for a $5 launch fee.  Non-campers must pay the daily admission plus $5 fee to launch a boat on Fish Lake. We have row boat, stand up paddleboard, paddle boat and single or tandem kayak rentals from 7 am to 7 pm on weekends and 8 am to 7 pm on weekdays. Boats must be on shore by 7 pm.

How many people are allowed on a campsite?

All overnight camping rates are based on 2 adults & 2 kids or less. Additional occupants are $6 per person, per night. Maximum occupancy: 6 total. 4 adults per site max. Kids considered 17 and under. Note: Kids 6 and under are FREE but count in maximum occupancy.   Additional occupants for Rentals are $10 per person, per night.  Maximum occupancy: 6 total. 4 adults per site max. How many tents can I put on a campsite?

All tent sites can accommodate 1 large tent or 2 small (2-3) person tents.  Select V section campsites near the lake can accommodate a 2nd small tent for an additional $10.00 per night.  Tent sites E4, E5, E6, E7 have a 16×16 ft. area to place the tent, along with space for a car, picnic table fire ring. Tent sites V8-V15 are NOT laid out with a specific area for the tent. For planning purposes, the total number of occupants cannot exceed 6; 4 of those may be adults. A tent may not be put up on seasonal sites or RV overnight sites

Do you serve food?

Yes!  Concessions is directly across from the beach. They’re hours are 8am-8pm.  The menu for Concessions is shown on our CampersApp.

What are the rules for campers?

Campers and their guests must abide by the overnight camping rules; most are posted around the resort and on this website.  Overnight, Seasonal, Rental and Monthly campers must sign a copy of the overnight camping rules as part of the registration process. If you have any questions call (847) 546-2228.  Essentially, our cover common sense about quiet hours, peace and respect for others as well as and safety matters that when followed, will help create a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Where can I get propane?

Propane is available for purchase at Fish Lake Beach Trailer Sales and Service from 9 am to 4 pm daily. Call (847) 546-2228 for details.

Where is the nearest grocery store?

3 miles north on Route 12 there is an Aldi grocery store

Do you have recycling bins?

Yes! Recycling is encouraged. Large recycling bins are located by the pool bathrooms; smaller green recycling receptacles are throughout the resort, beach and common areas.

Do you allow campfires?

Yes! Campfires are permitted in the fire pit or fire ring on each campsite.  Fires must be kept under 2 ft high. Firewood may be purchased at concessions, across from the beach.

Is alcohol permitted?

Alcohol is permitted at the beach and campsites. Glass bottles or containers are prohibited at the beach, please.  We do not sell alcohol.

I’m under 21.  Can I book a campsite?

Individuals under 21 years old may not camp without parent supervision on property at all times. Individuals that wish to use a rental must be over 25 years old.
