Check-In: 4 pm, Check-Out 3 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability. Call (847) 546-2228 on your day of arrival to find out if your site has been vacated from the previous night. If it is available, we allow early check-in after 12 noon at no additional charge. Late check out is not allowed.
Yes, Overnight campers may use the FREE WiFi service in the overnight camping section near the pavilion. Comcast services are available for purchase throughout the entire property to allow monthly and seasonal campers to buy high speed internet and/or television services for a month or a quarterly basis without the need for a contract or satellite dish.
Comcast enabled Seasonal sites and Monthly sites means personal service and fast internet speeds. Plus, there’s no need to call an 800 number, or wait on hold. Water recreation is a big part of the fish lake beach camping experience! All Fish Lake Beach campers may use the heated pool, kiddie pool, hot tub and lake. Click on daily admission for hours, cost and details. Group picnic guests may swim in the lake. The rules below apply to all campers, their guests and daily beach goers.

Yes. Fishing licenses are required by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) for individuals 16 years old and over. You may purchase a fishing license at Fish Lake Beach at the Registration office with a driver’s license, previous license or student ID. Cash and credit cards accepted.
Shore fishing is permitted from 6 am to 11 pm Monday-Friday. You may fish from a row boat until 7 pm.
Yes! Accommodations in our overnight camping section are park models, equipped with TV, kitchen, sofa, deck, grill, picnic table, parking for two cars, grill and more! We do not rent tents or other types of recreational vehicles.
Campers may bring their own boat for a $ 5 launch fee. Non-campers must pay the daily admission plus $5 launch fee to use a boat on Fish Lake. We have row boat, paddle boat and single or tandem kayak rentals from 7 am to 7 pm on weekends and 8 am to 7 pm on weekdays. Boats must be on shore by 7 pm.
All camping rates are based on 2 adults & 2 kids or less. Additional occupants are $6 per person, per night. Maximum occupancy: 6 total. 4 adults per site max. Kids considered 17 and under. Note: Kids 3 and under are FREE but count in maximum occupancy. See overnight camping page. Additional occupants for Rental units are $10 per person, per night. Tent sites can accommodate 1 large tent or 2 small (2-3) person tents. Select sites can accommodate a 2nd small tent for an additional $10.00 per night. The total number of occupants cannot exceed 6. A tent may not be put up on seasonal sites or RV overnights sites.

Camping guests and visitors must abide by Fish Lake Beach rules; most are posted around the resort and on this website. Overnight, Seasonal, Rental and Monthly campers must sign Fish Lake Beach rules as part of the registration process. If you have any questions call (847) 546-2228. Essentially, our cover common sense and safety so that all guests can have a peaceful and safe experience.

Yes! Recycling is encouraged but not mandated. Large recycling bins are located by the pool bathrooms; smaller green recycling receptacles throughout the resort, beach and common areas.
Yes! Camp fires are permitted in the campfire pit or ring on each campsite. Fires must be kept under 2 ft high. Firewood may be purchased at concessions, across from the beach.
Alcohol is permitted at the beach and campsites. Glass bottles or containers are prohibited at the beach, please. We do not sell alcohol.
Individuals under 21 may not camp without parent / custodian supervision present. Rental leases must be assigned to an individual 25+.
