Hiring: Pool Attendants For Season 2023

Education: Education is not required.

Applicant: must be 21 or older, able to work outside, and possess a friendly demeanor.

Skills: Customer service, maturity, good verbal communication skills, reliability, punctuality.

Certifications: No certifications are necessary.

Competencies: Applicants shall show competency in the following areas: Able to supervise patrons and provide feedback to management staff as needed, readily recall details necessary to perform the job, communicate clearly through written and verbal communication, be responsible, dependable, demonstrate self-confidence, and work cordially with all staff and patrons.

Responsibilities

Follow, promote, and help implement the pool rules or beach rules of FLB.

Responsible for enforcing pool rules and ensuring the safety of residents/guests in the pool area.

Attend and be accountable for information and procedures presented at training.

Maintains cleanliness of aquatic facility decks & chairs.

Report any damaged, misplaced, or otherwise faulty equipment immediately.

Be polite and courteous to all patrons at all times.  Excellent verbal communication skills.

In emergency situations, call 911, call the manager on duty, assist with crowd control, direct the rescue squad and open gates.

Read and understand and comply with the FLB Employee Handbook.

Perform all other duties as assigned to the best of your ability.

Assist with other aquatic staff when required.

While performing this job, the employee is required to speak and listen, stand, walk, use hands, sit, stoop or kneel, bend and lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Environment Considerations • Worker is exposed to chemicals (cleaning materials). • Worker is exposed to outdoor conditions.

Season: The season begins Memorial Day weekend and ends Labor Day weekend. If hired, you’ll be expected to work the entire season.

Shifts

11-2pm Weekdays Monday thru Friday

2-5pm Weekdays Monday thru Friday

11-2pm Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

2-5pm Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

6pm-8pm Weekends  (Saturday and Sunday)
