With the legalization of recreational marijuana in Illinois as of January 2020 Illinois we have established a rule for its use at Fish Lake Beach. That rule is: “marijuana cannot be smoked in public places at Fish Lake Beach where it can be seen by others.”  This rule applies to all at Fish Lake Beach; seasonals, overnight campers and the public.

Anyone camping at Fish Lake Beach must read and sign the rules in order to occupy a campsite and be on property. Those found to be in violation of this rule will be immediately escorted from Fish Lake Beach premises without refund.
