Announcement: Campsite Tax from Village of Volo

The link above is to a letter emailed to our existing seasonal campers on August 29, 2022.  The letter goes over the unanimous decision by the Village of Volo board members to begin taxing Fish Lake Beach camping customers with a campsite tax.  Our camping customers have NEVER been taxed on camping since we opened in 1939 so this announcement is historic.  The tax begins to be applied to all camping starting in the 2023 season and applies to all camping: overnight, rental and monthly. Storage of RVs and boats will also be taxed starting in 2023. A separate link within the announcement explains that as well.
