Camp in your Tent or RV or stay in a rental with many comforts of home.
Season 2025 is May 1st – October 15th (our first night of camping is May 1st; the last night of camping is October 15th)
Fish Lake Beach campers enjoy free admission to the beach, heated pool, amenities, and themed weekend activities. Our hot tub is for campers only who are 17 or older.
All campsites feature water, electricity, a fire ring, and a picnic table. We also have sites with sewer hookups.
Rates are based on availability. “Starting at” rates are shown.
Camping rates do not include a 5% Village of Volo Tax.

When Booking by Phone

If you do not get a confirmation call 847-546-2228.
If a specific site was not requested, we reserve the right to change the site booked to an equivalent site, if necessary.

To ensure the delivery of a reservation confirmation please double-check the email address you entered.

Reservation Terms

Overnight camping & Rental reservations require payment in full.
Overnight camping, Monthly & Rental camping rates are based on 1 site, 1 camp unit, 2 adults + 2 kids or less.
Additional Occupants: $6 per person, per night for Overnight and Monthly camping AND $10 per person, per night for Rentals. Maximum occupants 6; 4 may be adults.
Individuals 17 and under are considered kids, individuals 18 are considered adults.
Kids 6 and under are FREE and count as occupants.
Tent Limits: A 2nd tent adds $10 per night. Both tents must fit within the site and may NOT encroach on roads or other sites. Tent reservations may not exceed 7 days. If you book a tent site you must set up and occupy the tent.

Early check-in is SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. To inquire, call 847-546-2228 on the day of your arrival. Early Check-In (11a-3:00p) is $25. Check-in before 11a is not permitted.

Parking:
- Campers are allowed 2 cars at their campsite
- If a camper has 1 car, their guests can park in 2^nd space
- If a camper has 2 cars, their guests must park in the parking area by the pier
A Tent or RV is required. Sleeping in cars or vans is not allowed.
Campers are responsible for their guests at all times during their visit.
Reserved sites cannot be sublet to others. If a reservation is booked and found to be a sublet the reservation will be cancelled without refund and the occupants ejected.

Cancellation Terms

To modify or cancel your reservation, call 847-546-2228. If you call after hours, leave a message with your name and phone number, and we will call you back.
Cancellation of camping reservations for Overnight, Holiday, and Rental camping: To cancel and receive a partial refund we require 2 days or more notification prior to the date of your arrival. Your refund amount will reflect the cancellation fee, calculated at 20% of your paid-in-full reservation. If your notification is 1 day or less prior to your arrival date, there is NO refund. Monthly cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee, calculated at 20% of your deposit.
Cancellations due to lake closures will not result in a refund. Closures are beyond our control. Fish Lake is monitored by the Lake County Health Department.

Important Additional Information

Pipes Are Not for Wipes! Paper towels, feminine hygiene products, and wipes, including those marked as “flushable wipes” cannot be put in toilets. They don’t disintegrate, get tangled in our pumps, and cause sewage to overflow on the ground and possibly inside the trailer. Please dispose of these in your bathroom waste basket. Thank You.

Dogs are permitted at overnight campsites but NOT allowed in or at Rentals.

Dogs must be controlled on a leash but can be leash-free in our dog park. Dogs must be leashed at all times unless they’re inside our dog park. Compliance with the dog park-posted rules is required. owners must pick up after their dogs. Dogs are not permitted on the sandy sections of the beach or in the roped-off swimming area. Loud or incessant barking will not be tolerated.

Quiet Hours: Sun-Thurs 10pm-8am: Fri 11pm-8am: Sat 11pm-9am.

You MAY bring in firewood. Premium, kiln-dried firewood bundles are sold at Concessions or the Gatehouse.

We do not rent tents or RV’s.

You must be 21+ to camp at an overnight campsite; 25+ to rent and occupy a park model.

Golf Carts: Overnight, Monthly and Rental campers MAY NOT BRING A GOLF CART. Seasonal Campers MAY bring a Golf Cart IF they meet the qualifications for and possess a current, state-issued permanent Disability Placard or Disability Plate for the individual who owns and drives the Golf Cart. A Golf Car Permit fee must be paid each season and Rules must be agreed to in writing before a permit will be issued and usage allowed.

We allow campers to use their non-motorized watercraft. Weather conditions may prevent lake use.

• Family Time 11a-8p
• Closed 5p-6p for maintenance
• Fish Lake Beach campers and their guests may use the heated pool, kiddie pool, hot tub, and lake at no charge. The hot tub is for campers who are 17 years and older.
• Pool and hot tub open Memorial Day Weekend, May 23, 2025** if the air temperature is 68 degrees or above**
• Pool and hot tub close September 7, 2025.
• No swimming alone. Kids must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or adult.
• No Lifeguard on Duty. Swim at Your Own Risk.
Beach Dates & Info
• Beach Hours: Sunrise to Sunset
• Boat Rental: 9a-6p*** boats must be on shore by 6p***
• Fish Lake and Beach are open to the PUBLIC on WEEKDAYS, May 27, 2025-September 19, 2025 with paid admission or a Beach Pass.
• Fish Lake and Beach are open for CAMPERS 7 DAYS A WEEK, May 23, 2025-October 5, 2025.
• Fish Lake is monitored by the Lake County Health Department
• No swimming alone. Kids must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or adult.
• No Lifeguard on Duty. Swim at Your Own Risk. Boat at Your Own Risk.
• Closures are beyond our control. If you wish to cancel reservations due to lake closures, there will be no refund.
• A rescue ring with rope is at the lake near the rules sign. All watercraft users must wear life jackets. Your safety. and that of your family is your responsibility.

Activities and the use of our pool, beach, playground, pavilion, rec halls, and piers depend on the IDPH and Illinois Governor’s mandates for Covid-19. Activities may be modified or canceled for safety and compliance purposes. We will make every effort to provide recreational options for our campers.
